With that belief at its core, Chivas Campus was launched in partnership with Chivas Brothers as a global digital learning platform designed to inspire more than 18,000 Pernod Ricard employees, whisky drinkers, and trade ambassadors worldwide.

Co-created with the Edinburgh Whisky Academy and certified by the SQA, the platform combines academic credibility with immersive storytelling. Rooted in evidence-based learning principles and delivered through dynamic microlearning, Chivas Campus blends modern academia with timeless whisky craft.

This is not just training. It is an engaging brand experience built to empower participants with confidence, knowledge, and pride in the Chivas story.

Total Onion’s Role – Custom Learning Platform Development

Total Onion was responsible for bringing the learning experience to life digitally, building a bespoke and scalable web application tailored to the platform’s educational ambition.

Our work included:
• Extending our modular WordPress-based framework with fully customised learning functionality
• Secure user accounts with progress tracking, enabling learners to pause and return seamlessly
• Structured course journeys designed around microlearning principles
• Automated certificates and digital badges upon completion
• A flexible global modal system for platform-wide messaging
• A custom admin dashboard to monitor participation, engagement, and leaderboard performance

Every feature was designed to support an intuitive user journey while reflecting the prestige and heritage of the Chivas brand.
